Hideout New Zealand Possum Fur Throws are handcrafted to perfection using only the finest furs available with each of the furs being hand selected and individually colour matched to bring you a quality throw that will bring you years of pleasure.

No furs are stretched giving a more luxurious look and feel as there are more furs per inch used to create the end product.

Possum fur is the third warmest fur in the world after the Polar Bear and Artic Fox

·         is 8% warmer and 14% lighter than wool.

·         Hideout New Zealand only uses the finest possum pelts available from the South Island. These furs are the thickest and most luxurious pelts available.

·         All our furs are chrome tanned which means they are not only dry-cleanable but also washable and odour free.

·         Hideout New Zealand DO NOT STRETCH out our furs as we believe this weakens the leather fibre so therefore you get more furs in your Possum Fur Throws.

·         A quality heirloom product which is even more beautiful and softer than MINK.

It is important to note that our throws are only intended and sized to sit on top of the bed with a slight overhang. If you would like your Possum Fur Throw to fit completely over the bed, you will need to choose the next size up ie, if you have a queen size bed then you will need a king size Possum fur Throw.
