- Your cowhide rug, furniture or cushions may be included in your normal cleaning routine. Simply vacuum or give rugs and cushions a shake outside to remove dust.

- It is good idea to rotate your rug from time to time to ensure even wear keeping out of direct sunlight and preferably in a light to medium traffic flow area.

- Cowhide stains such as coffee, tea and wine should be cleaned with a damp cloth using a mild soapy solution. The hair may be combed back into place.

- For more stubborn stains such as grease, fat and lipstick – remove solid matter and apply Eucalytus oil directly to the affected area dabbing gently. Finally wipe with a damp sponge (not wet) with a mild soapy solution.

- On a sunny day you can put your cowhide outside to air with the underside facing the sun.

- Never put your cowhide in the washing machine.

For our corporate products and handbags simply sponge the cowhide with a damp cloth using a mild soapy solution.  This will freshen up the cowhide if need be.  For more stubborn stains, please follow the instructions above.
